The Difference between a Strip Cut and a Cross Cut Shredder

Stripcut shredders shred paper into long, thin strips. Strip-cut shredders generally can handle a higher volume of paper with lower maintenance than that of cross cut shredders.They generally have a lower security level ranging from Level 1 to Level 3.They don't require too much maintenance as are usually cheaper than a cross cut version with similar specifications

Crosscut shredders ideal if you require more security in either the office or home. They cut paper vertically and horizontally into confetti-like pieces .Shredded paper also compresses better so the basket needs less frequent emptying. They do however require a little more oiling and a usually more expensive than a stripcut shredder with similar specs.
